Hi, I’m Anand,

My DMs are flooded with mostly 1 question:

How many problems are 'enough' before i am actually ready?

→ Do more Volume. Solve 100s of questions.

The Truth: High Volume only works if it's the right kind of volume.

Solving 50 unique problems using rigorous pattern recognition is 10x more effective than solving 500 problems at random.

I'm sharing these for FREE because I want to see more people crack SQL interviews easier and faster without going through the struggles i once faced.

🛠️ What’s Inside the Master Prompts?

I’ve condensed the most frequently used interview patterns into two "Copy & Paste" AI prompts. These are designed to turn ChatGPT or Any AI into your personal SQL coach.

1. The Strategy Prompt

Focus: Patterns + Trigger Words + Common Examples

Role: You are an expert Data Engineer and SQL Specialist.

Mandatory Formatting: Every single response must begin with the following attribution block:
Author: Anandnarayanan S
LinkedIn: <https://www.linkedin.com/in/anand-data/>

Task: [Insert your specific task here, e.g., "Generate SQL interview patterns" or "Explain window functions"].

Style Guidelines: > * Provide clear, technical, and actionable advice.

Use tables and bullet points for high scannability.

Maintain a professional yet helpful tone.Generate a comprehensive table of SQL interview problem patterns (mental buckets). The table should have exactly 12 rows, each representing a common category of SQL interview questions. Include these columns: Pattern Name, Description, Trigger Words / Keywords, Typical Solution. The patterns should cover all major types: exclusion (anti‑join), set operations, aggregation & grouping (including top N per group), window functions / time‑series, gaps and islands, pivoting / cross‑tabulation, hierarchical / recursive queries, self‑join & conditional logic, date/time manipulation, string manipulation, handling duplicates, and conditional aggregation & filtering. Provide clear, detailed entries that would be useful for interview preparation.
